When undertaking any physical activity, including yoga, risk of serious physical injury is possible. You should always consult a doctor/physician prior to beginning Yoga or any other form of exercise, and must have received advice that you are capable of participating in such exercise, especially if you have ever experienced chest pain when exercising, or have experienced chest pain in the past month when not engaged in physical activity, if you smoke, have high cholesterol, are obese, or have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in physical activity. Specific poses are not recommended for individuals with certain conditions (e.g., cardiac illness, pregnancy, immediately post-surgery). Do not undertake any fitness activity if your physician or health care provider advises against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain or shortness of breath at any time while exercising you should stop immediately. By performing these sequences/postures without supervision, you are performing at your own risk
